Senior Treasury Manager (Fintech)

Location: Mexico; currently remote, with a planned transition toward a hybrid, hub-centric model. Future hubs include Mexico City, Guadalajara, Bogotá, Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro, and São Paulo.

What you will do

• Own daily cash positioning, liquidity forecasting, cash deployment, and settlement reconciliation across multiple currencies, entities, and payment corridors.
• Manage existing banking relationships and onboard new banking partners as products and corridors expand.
• Negotiate account terms, fees, and service agreements, while coordinating bank compliance and KYC/AML requests.
• Support the structuring and management of credit facilities, including lender reporting, covenant tracking, and draw and repayment mechanics.
• Design treasury policies, internal controls, audit trails, reserve requirements, and SOPs from the ground up.
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, FX, Compliance, and Product, and hire and develop the initial treasury team.

Requirements

• 6–9 years of progressive treasury experience, including experience in fintech, payments, or financial services.
• Hands-on experience with multi-currency treasury operations across multiple entities or corridors.
• Direct experience with credit facilities, lender reporting, covenant tracking, and draw and repayment mechanics.
• Strong understanding of payment rails, settlement mechanics, and liquidity management in a high-volume payments environment.
• Experience building treasury policies and internal controls from scratch at a scaling company.
• Advanced or fluent English required for daily communication and interviews.
