TL;DR
Staff Accountant (Manufacturing): Supporting general ledger accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting, audits, and tax-related reporting across multiple legal entities with an accent on accounting accuracy, intercompany activity, and process improvement. Focus on resolving discrepancies, preparing audit documentation, maintaining ERP records, and improving accounting workflows through Excel, AI tools, and automation.

What you will do
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, reclassifications, and month-end adjustments.
- Perform bank, balance sheet, and general ledger reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Support month-end close, intercompany transactions, financial reporting, account analysis, and supporting schedules across multiple legal entities.
- Review AP and AR activity, assist with complex accounting issues, and support internal and external audits with PBC documentation.
- Support sales and use tax compliance, royalty and commission calculations, and annual 1099 reporting.
- Improve accounting processes, reporting, and internal controls using Excel, AI tools, ERP functionality, and other technology.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Approximately 2–4 years of accounting experience preferred.
- Experience with general ledger accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.
- Strong Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and financial analysis tools.
- Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, investigate discrepancies, and collaborate with international teams.
Nice to have
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or QuickBooks.
- Experience supporting financial statement audits and preparing PBC documentation.
- Experience with sales and use tax reporting, royalty or commission calculations, and annual 1099 reporting.
