VP Data Center Platforms, Solutions and Strategies (AI Data Centers)

What you will do

• Define the global platform strategy and portfolio architecture for modular, prefabricated, hybrid, and traditional AI-factory data centers.
• Develop reference architectures covering AI-ready white space, power, cooling, liquid cooling, controls, networking, IT integration, and deployment services.
• Translate customer, market, technology, and regulatory inputs into product requirements, roadmaps, investment priorities, and platform differentiation.
• Own commercial frameworks including pricing architecture, configuration logic, target margins, business cases, quote governance, and lifecycle revenue models.
• Partner with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, construction, quality, and delivery teams to industrialize products and improve deployment speed, cost, quality, and scalability.
• Build a global product, strategy, solutions architecture, commercial analysis, and platform operations organization with strong portfolio governance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, business, or a related technical discipline; an advanced degree or MBA is preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in data centers, critical infrastructure, power and cooling systems, modular construction, cloud infrastructure, AI platforms, or adjacent sectors.
• Experience taking complex infrastructure products or solutions from market definition through engineering, commercialization, and global deployment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical distribution, backup power, cooling systems, liquid cooling, controls, commissioning, resiliency, and capacity planning.
• Commercial expertise in product pricing, cost modeling, margin management, business cases, and portfolio prioritization, including experience scaling portfolios exceeding $100M in annual revenue.
• Willingness to travel internationally as required.

Nice to have

• Experience with high-density computing, AI infrastructure, HPC, GPU deployments, or liquid-cooled data centers.
• Background with data-center OEMs, colocation providers, hyperscalers, cloud companies, modular infrastructure providers, EPC firms, or power and cooling manufacturers.
• Experience developing prefabricated systems such as power skids, e-houses, modular electrical rooms, containerized data centers, cooling modules, or prefabricated MEP assemblies.
• Global deployment experience across North America, EMEA, and APAC, including utility interconnection, power procurement, energy storage, and sustainability strategy.
