QA Team Lead (AI)

Location: Kaunas, Lithuania; hybrid work. One work-from-home day per week is available, plus 20 additional remote days from anywhere in the world.

Salary: from €5,000 gross per month, depending on individual experience.

What you will do

• Own and continuously improve QA strategy, processes, standards, tooling, and quality metrics.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the QA team while promoting shared quality ownership across the Delivery team.
• Build risk-based testing for checkout, payments, funnels, integrations, and new brand launches.
• Define and evolve the balance between manual, automated, API, integration, end-to-end, and exploratory testing.
• Drive AI-assisted QA through requirements analysis, test generation, test data, regression optimization, and defect analysis.
• Work with Developers and Product or Project Managers to identify risks early, analyze production incidents, and improve release quality.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading a QA team and owning QA processes.
• Strong understanding of manual and automated testing, including web, API, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience building or leading a test automation strategy and working with modern QA tools and CI/CD environments.
• Ability to prioritize automation and testing based on business value and risk.
• Strong interest in practical AI applications for software testing and QA.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, ownership, and continuous-improvement skills.
