Senior Manufacturing Engineer (MedTech)

Location: Limerick, Ireland

Salary: €52,400–€82,915 annual base pay

What you will do

• Support manufacturing and automation solutions that improve process capability, equipment performance, quality, yield, and output.
• Design, install, qualify, optimise, and improve manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, and controls.
• Troubleshoot process and equipment issues using structured problem-solving, data analysis, and engineering judgement.
• Partner with operations, quality, maintenance, validation, supply chain, and engineering teams on compliant manufacturing solutions.
• Lead or support technical projects from concept through implementation, including risk management and progress communication.
• Complete CAPAs, non-conformances, audit actions, change controls, technical documentation, and safety and regulatory activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Process, Automation, or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent education and experience.
• At least 4 years of engineering experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Experience with troubleshooting, process improvement, project delivery, analytical problem-solving, and manufacturing performance data.
• Strong communication, teamwork, ownership, project execution, technical judgement, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across functions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices, Lean Manufacturing Principles, Lean Supply Chain Management, MSAT, facility management, coaching, and project scheduling.
