Surveillance Specialist in AI-Assisted Software Engineering

Location: Göteborg or Solna, Sweden. The position is connected to hirify.global Surveillance Design, with main operations in Kallebäck and Lackarebäck, Gothenburg.

What you will do

• Shape AI-assisted software engineering practices, products, and business across the full software development lifecycle.
• Provide strategic leadership and hands-on guidance for evaluating, adopting, and scaling AI-assisted engineering practices.
• Improve engineering productivity, code quality, knowledge sharing, and development effectiveness.
• Work with developers, architects, engineering leaders, and product leaders to identify practical AI applications.
• Engage with industry peers, technology partners, academic institutions, and customers to gather insights and co-create solutions.
• Develop and communicate a specialist plan and vision for the technical area, driving necessary change across hirify.global.

Requirements

• Senior software engineering experience in complex technical environments.
• Strong understanding of artificial intelligence, Large Language Models, agentic AI systems, and AI tooling.
• Ability to assess emerging technologies, identify practical applications, and translate innovations into measurable engineering and business value.
• Strong communication, collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and change-leadership skills.
• Willingness to understand customers, competitors, products, priorities, and financial considerations.
• Security vetting is required; additional citizenship obligations may apply for positions requiring security clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience working with external industry peers, technology partners, academic institutions, or customers.
• Experience leading technical change or supporting the development of other engineers.
