TL;DR
Azure Cloud Support - L2 (Azure): Supporting and troubleshooting complex Microsoft Azure incidents and service requests with an accent on Azure infrastructure, virtual desktops, virtual machines, networking, monitoring, backup, and site recovery. Focus on managing tickets through resolution, coordinating critical escalations with Microsoft Support, collaborating across global technical teams, and mentoring junior team members.

Location: Bucharest, Romania; hybrid work arrangement. A valid working visa for Romania is required.

What you will do

  • Act as the primary customer contact for Microsoft Azure incidents and service requests.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex Azure platform and infrastructure issues while meeting service-level commitments.
  • Manage support tickets from investigation through resolution and maintain a high-quality customer experience.
  • Communicate proactively during critical incidents and coordinate escalations with Microsoft Support.
  • Collaborate with consultants and technical teams globally to resolve customer challenges.
  • Share knowledge, mentor junior team members, and contribute to team, practice, and project communities.

Requirements

  • Experience administering Microsoft Azure services in an enterprise environment.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure infrastructure services, including Log Analytics, Monitoring, Cloud Backup, and Site Recovery.
  • Practical experience with Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Networking, Azure Active Directory, and hybrid connectivity with on-premises infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of SQL databases; experience with Azure SQL Database and Azure migration projects is advantageous.
  • Fluent or professional English in written and verbal communication is required.
  • Valid working visa for Romania is required.

Nice to have

  • AZ-900 or AZ-104 certification.
  • Knowledge of Azure SQL Database and Azure migration projects.
  • German, French, or Spanish language skills.
