Senior GL Accountant (SaaS)

Location: Paris Area, France; hybrid workplace.

What you will do

• Manage day-to-day general ledger activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, adjustments, accruals, provisions, prepaid expenses, and fixed assets.
• Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities under IFRS and French GAAP.
• Prepare tax declarations and support statutory audits and internal and external financial reporting.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Legal, HR, Procurement, and other stakeholders.
• Improve accounting processes, ERP functionality, policies, documentation, and internal controls.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 7+ years of general accounting experience, ideally across an accounting firm and an in-house corporate environment.
• Strong IFRS knowledge is required; US GAAP knowledge is a plus.
• Fluency in French and English is required for work in an international environment.
• Strong analytical, technical accounting, communication, organization, and prioritization skills, with the ability to work autonomously under strict reporting deadlines.
• Availability for a fixed-term assignment covering parental leave and the ability to become operational quickly.
