TL;DR
Controller Treasury Back Office (Treasury/Accounting): Controlling treasury transactions, cash movements, reconciliations, and treasury-related financial reporting with an accent on US GAAP, Dutch GAAP, payment controls, and financial instrument maturities. Focus on investigating reconciliation breaks, supporting SOX controls, improving treasury processes, and contributing to Treasury Management System implementation.

What you will do

  • Verify treasury transactions, cash movements, payments, receipts, financing, investments, and settlement documentation.
  • Monitor debt, deposits, financial instrument maturities, and timely transaction settlement.
  • Review treasury accounting entries, perform or oversee daily bank reconciliations, and validate interest, bank fee, and financial charge accounting.
  • Prepare monthly US GAAP and Dutch GAAP financial statements.
  • Support SOX and internal control testing, fraud prevention, payment security, regulatory compliance, and audit requirements.
  • Improve treasury processes, maintain procedures, and contribute to Treasury Management System implementation and automation initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Treasury, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of treasury products, financing, investment instruments, treasury accounting, and internal controls.
  • Experience with payment systems such as SWIFT, SEPA, and TARGET.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP or Treasury Management Systems such as SAP, Oracle, Kyriba, Quantum, or Sage XRT.
  • Strong analytical, reconciliation, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent English required; high accuracy, confidentiality, ethical standards, and the ability to meet deadlines are expected.
