Fleet Controller (E-commerce Logistics)

What you will do

• Manage daily fleet operations, including vehicle allocation, tracking, inspections, maintenance schedules, repairs, and service records.
• Ensure vehicles comply with national road safety standards and enforce pre-trip and post-trip inspection procedures.
• Train, monitor, and evaluate delivery teams to improve driver safety, operational efficiency, and performance.
• Capture delivery team hours, manage overtime, and provide accruals and operational reports to management.
• Optimize fuel management, route planning, vehicle utilization, and labour costs.
• Maintain KPI reports, meeting minutes, administrative documentation, 5S housekeeping, health and safety standards, and COVID-19 protocols.

Requirements

• Minimum Grade 12 qualification.
• Tertiary qualification preferred.
• Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities.
• Problem-solving ability and good communication skills.
• Availability to work until daily responsibilities are completed, including potentially longer working hours.
