Senior Market Access Manager (Health Economics)

What you will do

• Develop and execute market access strategies for product launches, indication expansions, and lifecycle management across Malaysia.
• Integrate market access considerations into brand strategy, commercial planning, and cross-functional decision-making.
• Lead pricing strategy, pricing governance, scenario modelling, value justification, and implementation of approved pricing decisions.
• Develop reimbursement and market listing strategies, including value propositions, evidence packages, and negotiation approaches.
• Build strategic relationships with healthcare institutions, government agencies, policymakers, and reimbursement bodies.
• Identify evidence gaps and partner with Medical Affairs and other functions on evidence-generation plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Life Sciences, Health Economics, Public Health, or a related discipline.
• 8–12 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, including at least 5 years in Market Access, Pricing, Reimbursement, Government Affairs, Health Economics, or related functions.
• Experience developing and executing reimbursement, formulary listing, pricing, or healthcare access strategies.
• Strong understanding of the Malaysian healthcare ecosystem, reimbursement landscape, health technology assessment processes, and healthcare policy environment.
• Experience engaging healthcare policymakers, reimbursement stakeholders, government agencies, and healthcare institutions.
• Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, communication, problem solving, and ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders in regional and global matrix organisations.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Health Economics, Public Health, Pharmacy, Business, or a related field.
• Experience with health economics, competitive landscape analysis, market opportunity assessment, regulatory compliance, and pricing strategies.
• Leadership, team management, developing others, and commercial awareness.
