TL;DR
WCM Consultant (Lean Manufacturing): Delivering customized customer improvement projects in FMCG manufacturing with an accent on TPM, operational performance, and quantified financial results. Focus on analyzing production losses, designing and selling improvement solutions, leading delivery teams, and coaching customer management across Greater China.
Location: Shanghai, China; frequent travel within Greater China of up to 75%

What you will do
- Lead customized Expert Services and operational improvement projects for customers.
- Analyze customer operational losses, benchmark performance, and identify productivity opportunities.
- Develop, present, and sell customized solutions supported by quantified operational and financial benefits.
- Manage project scope, delivery teams, stakeholders from board level to factory operations, timelines, and quality.
- Deliver customer training, coach management, and work at shopfloor level to improve organizational effectiveness.
- Support the global Expert Services network and develop new consulting methodologies and solutions.
Requirements
- University degree or higher in engineering or management science.
- More than 8 years of experience in TPM, WCM, or Lean Manufacturing focused on operational improvement.
- Detailed knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance and experience implementing TPM programs in an FMCG manufacturing environment.
- Experience with TPM organization and pillar setup, methodologies, TPM awards, cost allocation, auditing, and continuous improvement methods.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, communication, interpersonal, customer-focused, and influencing skills.
- Excellent Chinese and English communication skills and willingness to travel frequently within Greater China are required.

- TPM instructor certification from JiPM.
- Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
- Experience managing multicultural teams without formal authority.
