Chemistry Technician III (2nd Shift) (Semiconductor)

Location: Onsite at the Burnet, Texas facility; the posting also lists Austin, TX.

Salary: $22.84–$33.41 per hour.

What you will do

• Perform routine analytical testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods.
• Use ICPMS, GC, GC/MS, HPLC, KF, LOD, NMR, and wet chemistry techniques.
• Prepare samples, initiate testing, verify sample efficacy, and ensure proper chemical storage or disposal.
• Maintain, calibrate, and clean laboratory equipment while managing parts, stock, and resources.
• Complete laboratory safety risk assessments and inspections and maintain cleanroom particle-count standards.
• Support continuous-improvement projects and follow 5S safety and organization guidelines.

Requirements

• Associate degree or higher in chemistry or a related physical or biological science.
• Three to five years of experience in an industrial laboratory setting is preferred.
• Experience supporting analytical laboratories and working under ISO-9001, GMP, GLP, or ISO-17025 quality systems.
• Knowledge of safe chemical handling and disposal, with a strong safety and accountability mindset.
• Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong dexterity, eye-hand coordination, and ability to perform routine repetitive motions safely.
