Eagle Microbiology Technician (Non-Sterile)

Location: Houston, Texas, United States; onsite laboratory role

What you will do

• Perform routine microbiology procedures, including sample handling, plating, incubation, and environmental monitoring according to SOPs.
• Maintain clean, organized, functional laboratory areas, stock rooms, workspaces, and cleanrooms.
• Clean, calibrate, troubleshoot, and care for laboratory equipment, glassware, utensils, and other tools.
• Prepare media, detergents, and reagents while managing inventory with FIFO rotation.
• Document laboratory activities, sample data, maintenance logs, inventory records, and waste disposal.
• Support training, customer inquiries, sample logistics, cross-functional workflows, and special projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, or a related life science.
• Basic knowledge of microbiology techniques, laboratory safety, and cleanroom practices.
• Ability to follow SOPs, work independently, maintain accurate documentation, and support team objectives.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and laboratory data management systems.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and handle laboratory equipment safely.
• Experience in a regulated laboratory environment, including cGMP, cGLP, or ISO 17025, is preferred.
