Staff Software Engineer (AI/ML)

Location: Bellevue Skyline Office, Bellevue, Washington, United States

Annual salary: $132,000–$264,000, plus performance-based bonuses and possible stock compensation.

What you will do

• Deliver platform capabilities covering infrastructure, tooling, and machine learning frameworks.
• Manage the full software development lifecycle, including coding, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Lead system design reviews and ensure alignment with architectural best practices.
• Build AI-driven applications and integrate machine learning components for automation and intelligent features.
• Mentor engineers, influence technical decisions, and promote standardization, reusability, and sustainable engineering.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex problems into technical requirements and improve engineering processes and code quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or a related area, plus 4 years of relevant experience; alternatively, 6 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with cloud-native architecture, microservices, containers, and automation.
• Experience delivering secure, maintainable, modular, and scalable AI/ML-driven applications using multiple programming languages.
• Experience with coding, testing, deployment, monitoring, and software maintenance.
• Technical leadership, mentorship, collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or a related area, plus 2 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA, assistive technologies, digital accessibility, and accessible product development.
