TL;DR
Lead Software Engineer (Simulation/Digital Twin) (NVIDIA Omniverse/C++/Python): Designing and integrating simulation capabilities, 3D environments, and digital-twin pipelines for autonomous construction robotics with an accent on high-fidelity scenes, sensor simulation, and real-time visualization. Focus on optimizing large-scale multi-machine simulations, validating digital-twin accuracy, and reducing the real-to-sim gap through comparison with machine and telematics data.

Location: Irving, Texas, United States; onsite five days a week. Relocation is available, and visa sponsorship is available for eligible applicants.

Salary: $128,470–$208,770 per year.

Company

hirify.global develops construction machinery and technologies for autonomous construction sites, including applied AI, simulation, sensing, and edge computing.

What you will do

  • Design, develop, and integrate simulation capabilities for construction machines, jobsites, and sensors such as cameras, LIDAR, and RADAR.
  • Build high-fidelity 3D models, scenes, and environments with NVIDIA Omniverse, USD, and Omniverse Kit-based pipelines.
  • Integrate simulation components with existing simulation models, data systems, and digital-twin frameworks.
  • Develop toolchains, scripting utilities, automated test frameworks, modular code libraries, and interfaces for real-time visualization and operator experiences.
  • Optimize performance for large-scale scenes, complex mechanical models, and multi-machine workflows.
  • Validate digital twins and reduce the real-to-sim gap by comparing simulation outputs with real machine, telematics, and historical performance data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
  • Ideally 5+ years of experience developing digital twins and simulations for robotics, machines, vehicles, or sensors.
  • Experience with NVIDIA Omniverse, Isaac Sim, Cosmo, NVIDIA WARP, Newton, and Omniverse-based pipeline development.
  • Strong hands-on programming skills in C++ and Python for simulation logic, behavior modeling, and tooling.
  • Knowledge of digital-twin and real-time simulation tools such as CARLA, Unity, Unreal Engine, Siemens NX, Teamcenter, Plant Simulation, Dassault 3DEXPERIENCE, or Ansys Twin Builder.
  • Experience with cloud-based simulation workflows, large-scale data integration, or distributed simulation pipelines.

Culture & Benefits

  • Medical, dental, and vision benefits.
  • Paid time off, holidays, and volunteer time.
  • 401(k), HSA, FSA, disability, life insurance, and parental and adoption benefits.
  • Career development, tuition reimbursement, health programs, employee assistance, and employee discounts.
