Senior Clinical Trial Manager (Biopharma)

Location: Onsite in Brisbane, California, United States. Travel required for the program: approximately 25%.

Salary: $181,900–$193,827 annually for roles based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

What you will do

• Own operational strategy across multiple clinical trials or a full geographic region.
• Shape protocol strategy and provide senior input on study design and data collection.
• Lead vendor and CRO selection strategy, contract negotiations, and strategic relationships.
• Manage program-level budget forecasting and proactively identify financial risks.
• Lead audit readiness and serve as the escalation point for vendor, site, and inspection issues.
• Mentor CTMs and CTAs, represent Clinical Operations at program level, and lead cross-functional strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• Degree in biological sciences and 8–10+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience managing global trials or multi-region clinical programs.
• Deep knowledge of FDA, EMA, ICH, and GCP regulations and guidelines.
• Strategic experience leading vendor and CRO relationships.
• Experience mentoring or developing junior CTMs or CTAs.
• Strong organizational, influencing, decision-making, and leadership skills with the ability to work independently.
