Senior Accountant, Global Accounting - Close CoE

Location: Escazú, Costa Rica; hybrid, working 2 to 3 days per week

hirify.global delivers global accounting, finance, and compliance operations for its enterprise through the Controllers Global Accounting Close CoE organization.

What you will do

• Execute global accounting close tasks and submit legal-entity trial balances and sales data into FCCS on time.
• Track close activities, clear errors, research ledger-to-FCCS differences, and implement corrective actions.
• Perform foreign exchange revaluation and maintain topside journal entry support.
• Coordinate with finance, accounting, tax, payroll, treasury, audit, technology, and other business partners.
• Maintain work instructions, supporting documentation, process tools, and SOX-related internal control records.
• Support audits, compliance initiatives, digital optimization projects, and global transformation initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 3–5+ years of technical accounting experience required, with public accounting experience strongly preferred.
• Practical experience with US GAAP, statutory accounting, and other GAAPs.
• Advanced SAP and FCCS experience strongly preferred.
• English proficiency required in written and spoken communication.
• Spanish proficiency required.

• International experience in emerging markets.
• Experience providing informal coaching and developing process expertise.
