TL;DR
Accountant 2 CR (Cost Accounting/Oracle): Managing cost accounting, inventory controls, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting for manufacturing and oncology operations with an accent on Oracle ERP, US GAAP, and operational finance accuracy. Focus on investigating inventory discrepancies, supporting Oracle accounting processes, tracking capital expenditures, and maintaining reliable financial data.

Location: Alajuela, Costa Rica; onsite role

What you will do

  • Perform monthly and quarterly audit activities across Operations and Oncology.
  • Support inventory controls, reporting, cycle counts, and discrepancy investigations.
  • Prepare accounting journal entries, revenue entries, reconciliations, and freight expense reporting.
  • Review capital expenditures and track approved commitments against actual spending.
  • Maintain operations inventory databases and master data for IMCNs and engineering change orders.
  • Execute weekly Oracle accounting processes and support visibility into operations performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3–5 years of experience in operations finance or cost accounting.
  • Fluent English and Spanish required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications and understanding of Oracle ERP and Hyperion.
  • Knowledge of accounting in a manufacturing environment and US GAAP.
  • Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and prioritization skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle Process Manufacturing.
