Assistant Manager - Banquet Setup (Overnight Shift)

Location: Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. Onsite overnight shift at a Las Vegas Strip property.

What you will do

• Partner with the Setup Manager to schedule, mentor, and develop the Banquet Setup team.
• Coordinate event logistics, resources, calendars, and setup requirements while resolving potential conflicts.
• Collaborate with Catering Managers and Banquet Captains to create event configurations and floor plans.
• Ensure floor plans comply with Fire Marshal guidelines and manage the Fire Marshal Fund account.
• Oversee workforce operations on the convention floor, including personnel protocols, time records, and payroll administration.

Requirements

• At least two years of progressive experience as a Banquet Setup Assistant Manager in a high-volume setting, preferably luxury hospitality.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications, Opera, and POS systems.
• Flexible schedule and ability to work the overnight shift.
• Exceptional written and verbal English fluency.
• Ability to obtain and maintain all required licenses, certifications, and active work credentials.
• Minimum age of 21.
