Director Enterprise Data Governance (AI)

Location: Hybrid role requiring three days per week at one of hirify.global's U.S. offices in McLean, Virginia; Dallas, Texas; or Memphis, Tennessee. The posting also identifies the role as on-site at these corporate locations.

Salary: $160,000–$210,000 per year, depending on experience and location. Eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive plans.

What you will do

• Lead the enterprise data and AI governance strategy, roadmap, operating model, and priorities.
• Establish data stewardship, accountability, and governance standards with business, architecture, engineering, privacy, security, legal, and risk teams.
• Modernize governance through metadata-driven controls, policy-as-code, and shift-left practices in cloud platforms, data products, and engineering pipelines.
• Oversee data quality, metadata, privacy, regulatory compliance, and enterprise knowledge assets supporting responsible AI and scalable data reuse.
• Own metadata management, business glossary, data catalog, data access governance, taxonomy management, and governance measurement programs.

Requirements

• 10 years of experience in technology, data management, analytics, or a related discipline.
• 5 years of experience in enterprise data governance, data quality, metadata management, data stewardship, and governance operating models.
• Experience leading enterprise-wide data governance and data quality programs supporting AI, reporting, and business transformation across multiple departments.
• Ability to work three days per week from one of hirify.global's U.S. office locations: McLean, Dallas, or Memphis.
• Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of associate's degree and experience or high school diploma/GED and experience.
