Senior Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Engineer

What you will do

• Own, monitor, and support more than 80 Oracle Integration Cloud integrations connecting Oracle Fusion Cloud applications with internal, third-party, and on-premises systems.
• Design and build integrations using REST and SOAP adapters, orchestration, data mapping, error handling, and secure API practices.
• Administer and optimize Oracle Autonomous Transaction Processing databases, including provisioning, schema management, capacity monitoring, and secure connectivity.
• Build and maintain Oracle Cloud Extensions with APEX, Visual Builder Cloud Service, VBCS, and related PaaS tools.
• Develop PowerShell automation for EPM integrations and manage CI/CD pipelines for OIC packaging, deployment, and environment promotion.
• Lead integration governance, design and code reviews, production support, documentation, and mentorship for junior developers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of Oracle integration development experience, including 3+ years with Oracle Integration Cloud.
• Experience operating a large-scale production integration portfolio and supporting mission-critical, high-availability environments.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle ATP administration and performance tuning, PL/SQL, Oracle Fusion Cloud applications, and ERP or finance modules.
• Experience with APEX, VBCS or comparable Oracle PaaS extension tooling, PowerShell, and CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, or Oracle-native tools.
• Strong knowledge of REST/SOAP, JSON/XML, OAuth 2.0, SSL/TLS, certificate authentication, troubleshooting, and stakeholder communication.

Nice to have

• Oracle Integration Cloud certifications.
• Experience with OCI services such as Object Storage, Functions, API Gateway, and Vault.
• Familiarity with Oracle Process Automation, Visual Builder Studio, Oracle Analytics, Git-based version control, infrastructure as code, or ITIL processes.
• Previous leadership or mentorship experience within an integration team.
