Manager, Medical Writing, Immunology

Location: Spring House, Pennsylvania, United States of America. Remote work may be considered on a case-by-case basis with Company approval.

Base pay: $117,000–$201,250 per year.

What you will do

• Prepare and finalize clinical and regulatory medical writing documents.
• Lead assigned projects and writing teams, managing scientific strategy, schedules, tracking, and submissions.
• Serve as the primary medical writing contact for assigned clinical programs.
• Guide, train, coach, and mentor medical writers and cross-functional colleagues.
• Drive process improvements and represent Medical Writing in industry standards working groups.
• Manage direct reports, including hiring, onboarding, goal-setting, performance discussions, and career development.

Requirements

• University or college degree required; a Master’s or PhD is preferred.
• At least 8 years of relevant pharmaceutical or scientific experience.
• At least 6 years of relevant medical writing experience.
• Strong project, time, and process leadership skills with the ability to resolve complex problems independently.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Knowledge and application of regulatory guidance, including ICH requirements.

Nice to have

• At least 2 years of people management experience.
• Experience interpreting, summarizing, and presenting statistical and medical information.
