Senior Manager, Data Science

Location: Change Building AR Bentonville Home Office, Bentonville, Arkansas, United States

Annual salary: $110,000–$220,000, plus performance-based bonuses and potential stock compensation.

What you will do

• Lead the development, assessment, and validation of advanced analytical models.
• Guide exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and machine learning work with structured and unstructured data.
• Design data visualization strategies to communicate insights and model outcomes to stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into scalable data science solutions with cross-functional partners.
• Oversee model deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement in production environments.
• Mentor team members and promote technical best practices.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in data science, machine learning, and advanced statistical modeling.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data visualization tools such as Matplotlib, Plotly, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Knowledge of model assessment, validation, tuning, exploratory data analysis, and feature engineering.
• Experience deploying scalable models in production environments.
• Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of analytics experience, master’s degree plus 3 years, or 7 years of experience in analytics or a related field.
• Leadership, mentoring, communication, and data-driven storytelling skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with optimization models, supervisory responsibilities, or a PhD in a related field.
• Python, Spark, Scala, or R assessment completion.
• Experience with open-source frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or Torch.
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility practices.
