Lead Data & Analytics – AI & Advanced Analytics

Location: On-site in Mobile, Alabama; Grand Prairie, Texas; Herndon, Virginia; or Atlanta, Georgia. The role requires 60% onsite presence and approximately 10% travel.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytical workflows in Palantir Skywise.
• Lead Skywise data engineering, platform administration, data governance, security, and technical enablement across North American Digital.
• Build and deploy generative AI, machine learning, agentic workflows, and custom AI applications for operational use.
• Ingest, clean, catalog, and structure data from APIs, databases, streaming feeds, and flat files into feature sets and Ontologies.
• Monitor and optimize analytical and AI applications for low latency, reduced technical debt, and continuous business value.
• Lead workshops, mentor junior developers and analysts, conduct code reviews, and support the North American AI Center of Excellence.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of professional experience in data engineering, advanced analytics, or business intelligence, or 7+ years with a master’s degree.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, business analytics, engineering, information systems, or a quantitative field.
• At least 3 years of deep hands-on experience with Palantir Skywise and its engineering, Ontology, Workshop, Slate, AIP Assist, and Code Repository capabilities.
• Advanced proficiency in Python, PySpark, SQL, and Spark SQL, plus expert knowledge of Tableau, Alteryx, and Power BI.
• Hands-on experience with generative AI models, prompt engineering, agentic workflows, and production AI/ML deployments.
• Fluent written and spoken English, current US work authorization, and availability for onsite work are required; visa sponsorship is not available for this US position.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, transportation, or other complex operational environments.
• Cloud, containerization, and MLOps experience with GCP, AWS, Azure, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Palantir Foundry or Skywise, SAFe Agile, PMP, Databricks, AWS, Azure, or GCP certifications.
• Experience coordinating across international corporate and transatlantic teams.
