Director, Virtual Utilization Review

Location: Remote within the United States; travel and onsite work at client, temporary, or corporate office locations may be required, up to 25%.

Salary: $101,600–$142,000 based on experience, plus eligibility for annual incentives.

What you will do

• Build trusted client relationships and act as a strategic partner focused on KPIs, SLAs, satisfaction, and outcomes.
• Oversee complex multi-client utilization review and utilization management operations.
• Drive measurable improvements in performance, productivity, and SLA attainment through dashboards and analytics.
• Lead large-scale change initiatives involving people, processes, and technology, including adoption of new technologies.
• Lead, develop, and mentor a globally distributed team of 125–175 employees, including at least three leaders.
• Partner with clients, external partners, Clinical Documentation Improvement teams, peer Directors, and AVP-level leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current RN license.
• At least 2 years of leadership experience in multi-client utilization review or utilization management operations.
• Experience in Revenue Cycle Management or equivalent healthcare leadership, including management of geographically dispersed teams across the United States and international locations.
• Experience in client relationship management, organizational transformation, and change management across people, processes, and technology.
• Strong analytical, communication, database, spreadsheet, and EMR skills; Power BI and project management tools are preferred.
