Forecasting Data Scientist

Location: Foster City, California, United States; at least 3 days per week in the office

Salary: $137,400–$212,500 per year, plus potential bonus and equity

What you will do

• Solve complex business problems using advanced data science techniques, AI/ML models, and data-driven frameworks.
• Develop a vision for data science capabilities aligned with business goals.
• Lead the design and development of large-scale data science systems and scalable forecasting models.
• Apply advanced forecasting and machine learning methods to drive business impact.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
• Present actionable results to senior leadership and business partners.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of work experience with a bachelor's degree, or an advanced degree.
• Experience with time series forecasting, including SARIMA/SARIMAX, VAR/VEC, N-HiTS, TFT, DeepAR, NeuralProphet, or similar methods.
• Experience with AI-driven forecasting, time series foundation models, and generative forecasting approaches such as TimesFM or TimeGPT.
• Programming experience in Python, R, Spark, or multiple other languages, plus data science tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• Experience building scalable models from large-scale real-world datasets and applying deep learning, machine learning, recommendation systems, generative models, and statistical analysis.
• Ability to work from the Foster City office at least 3 days per week.
