Senior Art Director/Designer - Small Business (AI)

Location: California, USA - Remote. In-person onboarding and/or identity verification may be required.

Salary: $119,000–$212,960 starting base salary annually for U.S.-based roles; offers may vary by experience and geographic location.

What you will do

• Define and execute Flow Studio’s visual language across campaigns, product marketing, social content, and digital experiences.
• Develop modern, scalable, and differentiated visual systems, templates, and creative assets.
• Create social-first content across motion, static, and digital formats.
• Translate VFX and simulation workflows into clear, compelling product storytelling grounded in real product output.
• Collaborate with creative, marketing, product, Technical Artist, and VFX teams to deliver technically credible work.
• Experiment with AI-native tools and workflows while maintaining high standards for craft, quality, and speed.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as an Art Director or Designer, ideally in software, SaaS, or small-business environments.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating art direction and design across brand, digital, and social work.
• Understanding of VFX and simulation workflows and their translation into visual storytelling.
• Strong knowledge of typography, layout, motion, and visual systems, with experience using Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and motion design platforms.
• Experience with social-first environments, content-driven brands, and collaboration with Technical Artists or 3D/VFX pipelines.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, work hands-on from concept through final output, and collaborate effectively across teams.
