Material Handler - Forklift (Dayshift)

Location: 181 Random Dr, New London, North Carolina, United States; on-site day-shift role

Base salary: $41,620–$48,048 USD per year, plus eligibility for an annual bonus or role-based sales incentive plan

What you will do

• Operate forklifts safely to move, locate, stack, and count merchandise and production materials.
• Supply production lines with materials and remove finished products and supplies from production areas.
• Move goods from the shrink-wrap area to the yard and hang raw-material bags for extruders.
• Load and unload trucks and perform order-filler and checker duties as needed.
• Record product transactions and movements using radio-frequency and barcode equipment.
• Clear waste and scrap, weigh scrap, complete shift paperwork, and maintain clean warehouse and storage areas.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of forklift experience.
• 1–3 years of experience loading and unloading trucks.
• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or shipping environment.
• Ability to operate computers, scanning guns, and radio-frequency barcode equipment.
• Good communication skills, a team-oriented approach, and the ability to work independently.
• Willingness to work scheduled overtime, holidays, weekends, and flexible hours during busy periods.
