Accounting Manager, DPS (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote within the United States

What you will do

• Lead accounting operations for the hirify.global Public Sector U.S. government subsidiary.
• Own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.
• Manage ASC 606 revenue recognition, contract setup, billing, and revenue tracking.
• Oversee government timekeeping, labor distribution, indirect rate calculations, and compliance with FAR and cost accounting standards.
• Coordinate external audits and maintain internal controls over financial reporting.
• Administer Unanet, NetSuite, and Salesforce accounting data, while leading process improvements and developing accounting staff.

Requirements

• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory or management experience.
• Experience with U.S. government contract accounting and compliance, including FAR, DCAA, and cost accounting standards.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and ASC 606 revenue recognition.
• Experience managing external audits and government timekeeping and labor compliance.
• Proficiency with Unanet, Salesforce, NetSuite, advanced Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.
• Ability to work remotely from the United States.
