Manager Procurement (Indirect Procurement)

What you will do

• Manage centralized and decentralized indirect procurement of goods and services.
• Select and qualify suppliers and service providers and negotiate contracts.
• Develop strategic supplier partnerships focused on cost, quality, service, and sustainability.
• Identify and implement cost savings and procurement optimization opportunities with business units.
• Develop procurement standards, guidelines, and processes in line with Group policies and values.
• Promote awareness of project lead times, budget planning, and sustainability objectives.

Requirements

• Degree in business administration or a comparable qualification with several years of professional experience in buying or purchasing.
• Extensive experience in strategic purchasing or procurement, including supplier and service-provider management.
• Experience with national and international project management and procurement process optimization.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, ideally SAP, and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Structured, analytical, results-oriented, persuasive, resilient, and collaborative working style.
• Fluent English, written and spoken, is required. German is beneficial but not essential.
