Customer Technical Advisor (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Assess customer security requirements, security postures, risks, and vulnerabilities.
• Provide expert guidance on security practices, risk management strategies, policies, audits, and remediation.
• Design and implement security controls, policies, and procedures across customer environments.
• Deploy and work with security technologies including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, access controls, and encryption.
• Review IT infrastructure, systems, and applications to support secure-by-design outcomes.
• Collaborate with customers, vendors, consultants, architects, project managers, and technical specialists on assessments, audits, and due diligence.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in information security consulting and implementation.
• Strong understanding of security principles, practices, technologies, and information risk management.
• Experience conducting security and risk assessments using frameworks such as NIST, RMF, or Common Criteria.
• Ability to communicate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to adapt to changing threats and technologies and stay current with security best practices.

Nice to have

• Experience quantifying risks and developing mitigation and remediation strategies.
• Experience with the NIST Control Framework, Critical Security Controls, and regulatory or compliance frameworks.
• Knowledge of cloud security, cyber resiliency, incident management, Zero Trust, network and edge security, IoT, or AI.
