Cybersecurity Expert (Cryptography)

Location: Hybrid, 2–3 days per week in Lisbon or Porto; candidates must be based in Portugal.

What you will do

• Define group-wide security requirements and strategies for cryptography.
• Support subsidiaries in implementing security measures.
• Participate in technical proofs of concept for security solutions.
• Guide projects toward suitable data security techniques, including cryptography, anonymization, and masking.
• Write or validate risk analyses and propose countermeasures.
• Build approaches for cryptographic asset inventories and crypto-agility.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in a similar cybersecurity role.
• Strong IT risk and cybersecurity knowledge with solid IT fundamentals.
• Experience with cryptography, data security, risk analysis, and security controls.
• Fluent English at C1 level.
• Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit, is required.
• Availability for a hybrid schedule 2–3 times per week in Lisbon or Porto.
