Total Rewards Lead Europe

Location: Netherlands, with office-based working in Amsterdam and flexibility to work from home based on team needs and individual circumstances. Work from abroad is available for up to 30 days per year.

Salary: EUR 85,500–119,700 per year, plus annual incentive and benefits.

What you will do

• Design and implement reward strategies and programs aligned with business objectives and global reward principles.
• Advise senior leaders, Finance, and People & Organization stakeholders on compensation, benefits, incentives, and performance-related decisions.
• Govern and harmonize reward practices across European markets while accommodating local requirements.
• Lead annual salary reviews, bonus allocation, incentive planning, job evaluation, grading, salary structures, and market benchmarking.
• Optimize incentive and benefit programs while balancing employee experience, compliance, affordability, internal equity, and competitiveness.
• Use market trends, employee needs, and data-driven insights to strengthen the employee value proposition and organizational performance.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of rewards principles, governance, short- and long-term incentives, and market benchmarking.
• Experience with job grading frameworks and assessments such as WTW, Korn Ferry, or Mercer.
• Strong stakeholder management, prioritization, business acumen, and creative problem-solving skills.
• Data-driven and strategic mindset.
