Middle UI Programmer (Unreal Engine)

What you will do

• Implement game interfaces in Unreal Engine using UMG based on design specifications.
• Collaborate with UI/UX Designers and Gameplay Programmers to deliver UI features.
• Work within and help evolve the existing UI architecture.
• Profile and optimize UI performance, debug issues, and fix bugs.
• Develop and maintain UI for PC, Xbox, and PlayStation.
• Participate in playtests and iterate on interfaces based on in-game results.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional UI development experience, preferably in the game industry.
• 1+ year of hands-on UI development experience with Unreal Engine.
• Strong knowledge of UMG and basic familiarity with Slate.
• Strong C++ skills and solid software engineering fundamentals.
• Experience working effectively with an existing codebase and UI architecture patterns such as MVVM or MVC.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
