Mobile Programmer (Unreal Engine)

Location: Hybrid role based in Stockholm, Sweden, with the possibility of working from home two days per week.

hirify.global NORTH is a 38-person game development studio within the hirify.global Group, known for Goat Simulator 3 and other game projects.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain released and upcoming games for iOS and Android.
• Work with Unreal Engine 4 and Unreal Engine 5 across different areas of game development.
• Collaborate with artists, designers, and programmers on the core game experience and mobile-specific features.
• Adapt and extend code for mobile development and deployment pipelines.
• Maintain compatibility of third-party SDKs and libraries.
• Package and deploy games to mobile storefronts while solving platform-specific technical challenges.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional game development experience.
• Professional experience with C++ in game development.
• Relevant experience with Unreal Engine.
• Fluent English is mandatory, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup from the Stockholm office.

Nice to have

• Mobile game development experience.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as TeamCity, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Experience developing multiplayer games.
• Experience optimizing graphical fidelity and frame time.
