Senior Software Engineer (Clearing)

hirify.global is a US-headquartered financial technology company providing brokerage infrastructure and APIs for stocks, ETFs, options, crypto, fixed income, and trading products.

What you will do

• Design and build systems that enable new financial products and integrations.
• Develop and improve post-trade clearing and settlement infrastructure.
• Build infrastructure for securities finance products such as fully paid securities lending.
• Own projects from ideation through deployment and work across teams to deliver solutions.
• Refine existing systems and participate in an on-call rotation to maintain reliability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience building reliable, distributed systems.
• Productive experience with Go, PostgreSQL, and Kubernetes.
• Ability to design high-quality RESTful APIs and identify problematic API designs.
• Strong foundational knowledge of computers, the internet, databases, and distributed systems.
• Ability to lead projects, take ownership, make sound design decisions, and work through ambiguity.
• Strong interest in traditional financial markets and responsibility for systems handling customers' money.

Nice to have

• Experience with securities clearing and settlement or securities finance.
• Experience with gRPC, Protobuf, Temporal, Grafana, Kafka or Redpanda, Helm, and Docker.
• Startup experience.
