Manager, Product Development, RTW Sweaters (Knitwear)

Location: New York, New York, USA (Corporate Headquarters)

Base pay: $90,000–$100,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end product development for Cut & Sew apparel and Knitwear across multiple business channels.
• Partner with Design, Merchandising, Materials Management, Technical Design, Production, Sourcing, and external suppliers.
• Manage fabric development, yarn sourcing and ordering, material approvals, testing, and seasonal development calendars.
• Coordinate prototypes, line openings, fit samples, SMS samples, fittings, product team meetings, and milestone reviews.
• Develop and negotiate garment, fabric, and yarn costing to meet seasonal target costs.
• Maintain BOMs, working costs, development tracking, and product information in PLM.

Requirements

• 5+ years of apparel product development experience, with expertise in Cut & Sew and/or Knitwear.
• Experience developing fabrics, yarns, and materials with mills and suppliers.
• Knowledge of knitwear construction, yarn specifications, gauges, garment costing, and material costing.
• Strong negotiation, influencing, project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced experience with PLM, BOM management, Excel, and product development systems.
• Ability to work onsite in New York, New York, USA.
