Salary: $125,000–$150,000 per year, plus eligibility for variable cash compensation and, where applicable, equity.

What you will do
- Lead manufacturing engineering projects from scope definition through execution, including schedules, risks, action tracking, stakeholder alignment, and status reporting.
- Serve as the technical engineering lead for manufacturing systems and processes, collaborating with Manufacturing, Service, Product Management, R&D, Quality, Planning, Supply Chain, and external vendors.
- Troubleshoot and improve complex electro-mechanical systems involving mechanical assemblies, electrical interfaces, fluidic paths, test equipment, and integrated configurations.
- Review design and technical documentation and manage the creation, revision, and release of SOPs, work instructions, test procedures, batch records, bills of material, drawings, and system configuration documentation.
- Support technology transfers to Marlborough Manufacturing, including build readiness, documentation gaps, fixtures, testing, training, and process stabilization.
- Investigate process, quality, and manufacturability issues, support corrective actions, train manufacturing personnel, and contribute to continuous improvement and safe-work initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 5–7+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing, systems build, product development, or a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated project management experience covering planning, prioritization, schedule development, action tracking, risk escalation, and cross-functional execution.
- Strong electro-mechanical aptitude, including experience with complex hardware, systems assemblies, mechanical interfaces, electrical components, fluidic systems, and test setups.
- Experience with P&IDs, URS documents, schematics, drawings, technical data sheets, work instructions, SOPs, batch records, and bills of material.
- Strong communication, organization, presentation, follow-through, safety awareness, and ability to work with internal teams and external vendors.
Nice to have
- SolidWorks experience with component and assembly drawings.
- Experience with hardware and systems design or assembly, fluidic testing, sheet metal fabrication, machined parts, fixture design, or test equipment selection.
- Process improvement, data analysis, and data visualization experience.
- Familiarity with SAP.
