Location: Manchester, NH, United States; onsite at the Manchester laboratory. Flexible hours and a non-traditional schedule may be required, including Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday.

What you will do
- Produce primary and iPSC-derived cells for R&D cellularization and tissue-engineering efforts involving 3D-printed scaffolds.
- Execute process-development studies to scale iPSC differentiation into multiple cell types.
- Develop robust cGMP manufacturing processes and support the transfer of R&D methods to manufacturing sites.
- Write and review laboratory methods, protocols, and scientific data for publications and conferences.
- Evaluate cell-processing technologies, laboratory equipment, instrumentation, and data software.
- Collaborate with Bioink, Scaffold Production, Cellularization, and other Organ Manufacturing groups.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in biomedical science, cell biology, or a related field plus 2+ years of relevant industry experience, or a master’s degree plus 1+ year of relevant industry experience.
- Prior experience with iPSC culture and bioreactor cell production.
- Experience with cell bioreactor culture, preferably Sartorius Ambr/B-DCU or vertical-wheel bioreactors at scales up to 10 L or more.
- Experience with automated cell-processing equipment such as CliniMACS Plus, LOVO, Cue, Sepax, Sefia, or Rotea.
- Knowledge of transferring R&D cell-expansion methods into GMP processes.
- Proficiency with standard office software, laboratory instrumentation, and data software; ability to accommodate a non-traditional work schedule.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in biomedical science, cell biology, or a related field.
- Strong working knowledge of cellular process development.
