What you will do

• Develop expertise in optical transport and switching technologies such as OTN and Ethernet.
• Design, develop, validate, and document networking features for embedded software applications.
• Diagnose embedded software issues, identify root causes, and implement fixes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test next-generation modem technologies.

Requirements

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• Experience with C and C++ programming.
• Knowledge of embedded systems, device drivers, Linux or RTOS operating systems, mutual exclusion, synchronization, interrupt handling, inter-process communication, and memory management.
• Strong verbal and technical writing skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and learn new concepts independently.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with DWDM, OTN, Ethernet, and TCP/IP.
• Experience with low-level real-time software or firmware development, hardware bring-up, and third-party device interfacing.
• Understanding of CPU architectures, hardware specifications, and timing diagrams.
• Experience with Git, Eclipse, JIRA, Confluence, GDB, Yocto, YANG, Python, Go, or Bash.
