Video Editor (EdTech)

Location: Remote from Portugal

Salary: $1,400/month plus a $150 performance-based bonus

What you will do

• Edit educational, marketing, short-form, and long-form video content, typically producing 100–140 videos per month.
• Create conversion-focused ad creatives designed to stop scrolling, drive sales, and perform across platforms.
• Develop advanced motion graphics, kinetic typography, animated assets, and polished transitions.
• Apply and improve brand templates, guidelines, and production systems.
• Deliver near-final edits with strong pacing, structure, sound design, and creative judgment.

Requirements

• 2–5+ years of video editing experience with a portfolio demonstrating quality and speed.
• Strong ability to create advanced motion graphics, typography animation, transitions, and visual structure.
• B2 or higher English proficiency.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
• Ability to work independently and deliver edits requiring minimal back-and-forth.

Nice to have

• Experience with EdTech or educational content.
• Familiarity with content styles for the US market.
• Experience with After Effects and editing automation workflows.
• Experience with influencer-led content and fast turnaround timelines.
• Strong creative instincts in pacing, storytelling, hooks, and retention-driven structure.
