Manufacturing Engineering IT Product Manager (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Own the lifecycle management, maintenance, functional support, and incident management of the ARPA, DOGS, and MEGA2 systems.
• Lead MEGA2 development and implementation projects for new aerospace programmes.
• Lead 3D-view mockup projects for next-generation visualizers across legacy and new programmes.
• Analyze Manufacturing Engineering business needs, define requirements, prepare functional designs, and coordinate development teams and Digital stakeholders.
• Manage user-specific software development, integration testing, UAT, customer acceptance, and end-user support.
• Prepare statements of work, allocate internal resources, advise on technical solutions, and manage stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Science Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Solid understanding of software design principles, architectural patterns, multi-layer systems, interfaces, customization, and system interdependencies.
• Experience translating non-technical requirements into technical specifications and documentation.
• Strong teamwork, client communication, stakeholder management, and structured working skills.
• Spanish and English communication skills are required.
• Understanding of agile practices, new technology opportunities, and technology trends; resilience in an operational environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in the aerospace industry and Manufacturing Engineering.
• Experience with programmes such as A400M, C295, MRTT, Eurodrone, or SIRTAP.
