Senior Software Engineer (SAP ABAP)

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support SAP ERP solutions using OO ABAP, design patterns, SOLID principles, and ABAP standards.
• Build SAP UI5 and Fiori applications with the S/4HANA ABAP RAP framework, including reports, enhancements, custom forms, and WebDynpro/FPM applications.
• Develop SAP integrations using SOAP, IDoc, BAPI, RFC, and data migration objects for master data loads.
• Optimize front-end and back-end SAP applications using ATC, Code Inspector, SAT, ST12, and HTTP/SQL traces.
• Support SAP upgrades by analyzing release impacts, adjusting Dictionary objects with SPDD, and performing SPAU and SPAU_ENH adjustments.
• Manage deployments and transports through SolMan and ChaRM while monitoring quality, performance, and reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field with 3 years of software engineering experience; or a relevant master’s degree with 1 year of experience.
• Experience designing and developing SAP ERP solutions with OO ABAP, design patterns, SOLID principles, ABAP standards, and S/4HANA code pushdown using CDS, AMDP, and New SQL.
• Experience with SAP UI5, Fiori, S/4HANA ABAP RAP, BRF+, decision tables, workflows, and SAP enhancement frameworks.
• Experience with SPAU, SPAU_ENH, SPDD, SAP upgrades, technical design, requirements analysis, feasibility evaluation, and estimation.
• Experience developing integrations with SOAP, IDoc, BAPI, RFC, and data migration objects, plus custom forms using SAP Scripts, Smart Forms, or Adobe Forms.
• Ability to work onsite at 811 Excellence Dr., Bentonville, Arkansas.
