Senior Manager, Client Consulting - NGPO (Fintech)

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; at least 3 days in the office

What you will do

• Lead workstreams within consulting engagements and transformation programs for issuing, acquiring, merchant, and fintech clients.
• Gather project inputs, analyze data, develop recommendations, and present compelling client reports.
• Design payment strategies, roadmaps, product-market fit assessments, customer value propositions, and growth initiatives.
• Assess and improve digital payment wallets and mobile banking applications, including customer engagement initiatives powered by hirify.global data.
• Collaborate with data science, product, marketing, risk, and innovation teams on data-driven solutions, including AI model deployment.
• Identify client pain points, define project scopes, develop consulting offerings, and support revenue opportunities and thought leadership projects.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree, or 3 years with an advanced degree; preferred profiles have 8 or more years of experience.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in consulting, corporate strategy, banking, financial services, or business management.
• Strong knowledge of the payments industry, consumer trends, and regulatory developments in Malaysia.
• Experience managing client relationships, senior stakeholders, large high-impact projects, and end-to-end implementation.
• Superior analytical, problem-solving, presentation, commercial, and business/value-case skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a matrixed organization, manage multiple projects, lead change, and apply human-centered design and design thinking.
