Senior Data Center Technician, Riga

Location: Riga, Latvia; full-time on-site work in 8-hour shifts covering 24/7 operations

Salary: €23,000–€35,000 gross annually

hirify.global is building a full-stack AI cloud spanning data centers, hardware, and a cloud platform for AI teams.

What you will do

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot servers, storage systems, networking equipment, and other data center hardware.
• Perform hardware break/fix, rack builds, copper and fiber cabling, and link-level troubleshooting.
• Monitor temperature, humidity, power, and other environmental conditions, responding to alerts and supporting infrastructure uptime.
• Contribute to data center build-outs, migrations, refresh projects, new data halls, and site extensions.
• Plan machine installations and future site upgrades as power capacity grows.
• At senior level, lead technical deployments, improve procedures and standards, mentor junior technicians, and help build the on-site team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of progressive data center or IT infrastructure experience.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise GPU servers, including NVIDIA Ampere, Hopper, or Blackwell generations.
• Ability to work independently, handle ambiguity, and manage a broad technical scope.
• Ability to work full-time on-site in rotating shifts covering 24/7 operations.
• Professional English fluency and fluency in Latvian are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with liquid cooling systems, including DLC loops.
• Switch integration, cluster deployments, or data hall build-outs.
• Experience leading site build-outs, data hall openings, or large cluster deployments.
• Experience mentoring or leading junior technicians.
