Loan Operations Specialist (Fintech)

What you will do

• Manage the loan operations lifecycle, including order creation, payment link setup, document generation and tracking, delivery confirmation, and acceptance sign-off.
• Prepare deals for funding by coordinating with Risk, Capital Markets, clients, and GTM to collect, validate, and structure required information.
• Proactively follow up on pending documents, signatures, and delivery confirmations to keep deals moving.
• Identify recurring process friction, document operational gaps, and escalate recommended improvements.
• Maintain operational playbooks and provide Product with insight into manual workflows being prioritized for automation.
• Track time-to-fund, stage conversion, document turnaround, and other funnel health metrics.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in loan operations, deal operations, order management, or fintech operations.
• Experience coordinating information and documents across internal teams and external clients.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify missing information, unsigned documents, and inconsistencies.
• Strong written and spoken English for communication with clients and internal teams.
• Comfort working with operational metrics and identifying blockers in a deal funnel.
• Experience using automation or AI tools in an operations workflow, or strong interest in adopting them.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Risk, Legal, or Capital Markets functions.
• Experience with Salesforce or another CRM-embedded operations workflow.
• Background in lending, leasing, or equipment finance.
