Product Manager (SAP) (Accounting and Billing)

What you will do

• Lead stable operation and continuous improvement of accounting and billing systems in SAP S/4HANA.
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, handle incidents, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate recovery and permanent countermeasures.
• Support business users by resolving operational, data consistency, and business process issues.
• Plan and execute monthly and annual closing, accounting document checks, reporting, and other routine operations.
• Manage SAP security, access rights, accounting compliance, and audit responses.
• Guide operations team members, share SAP FI expertise, and help establish an autonomous operating structure.

Requirements

• 5+ years of operational and maintenance experience with the SAP FI module.
• Experience operating SAP S/4HANA and leading system failure response from root cause analysis through recovery and permanent countermeasures.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and their impact on system operations.
• Strong communication, documentation, leadership, and team development skills.
• Business-level Japanese required.
• English at approximately TOEIC 800 or equivalent level required for global collaboration.

Nice to have

• SAP S/4HANA certification.
• Experience operating and managing SAP Fiori, including user support and minor configuration changes.
• Knowledge of SAP standard APIs, OData, ITIL, or project management.
