Junior BIOS Platform Porting Engineer

Location: Kunshan, China. The role requires satisfactory proof of the right to work in China.

What you will do

• Participate in BIOS development and platform porting for Intel and AMD platforms.
• Support platform bring-up, BIOS build verification, system boot validation, and platform-specific module integration.
• Validate BIOS features and perform regression testing for server and client systems.
• Reproduce reported issues, analyze debug and serial logs, identify root causes, and assist with fixes.
• Collaborate with local and global engineering teams through technical discussions, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related technical discipline.
• Solid programming skills in C.
• Good understanding of data structures and algorithms, computer organization, and computer architecture.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to read and understand English technical documentation; CET-4 or equivalent English proficiency required.
• Target audience: 2025/2026 graduates and entry-level candidates.
