Senior Data Assurance Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Salary: $127,462–$216,000 per year

What you will do

• Identify, implement, test, and maintain data loss prevention solutions, alerts, monitors, and system checks.
• Write, test, debug, and deploy programs and scripts for incident management and security operations.
• Coordinate and validate DLP system changes, product installations, security assessments, and technology evaluations.
• Develop technology roadmaps, proofs of concept, test cases, code documentation, playbooks, and technical recommendations.
• Lead and contribute to team assignments, code reviews, meetings, documentation, and technical presentations.
• Support information assurance activities, including countermeasures, backup and recovery practices, archival procedures, and information management software.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field plus 1 year of relevant experience; or bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience building and analyzing SQL queries and creating reports and dashboards, including work with SharePoint.
• Experience with incident response, risk discovery, security posture recommendations, security policy development, and security technology evaluation.
• Experience designing and implementing SOAP and REST APIs using Python and building scalable, fault-tolerant service-oriented applications using Python and JavaScript.
• Experience with DLP systems, intrusion detection systems, email protection systems, incident-management playbooks, and configuration and maintenance based on emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
• Knowledge of NIST, PCI, HIPAA, GDPR, OWASP Top 10, and MITRE ATT&CK frameworks and standards.
